Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She was on QI, as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles she played on Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. She was already regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In 2012, after winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on different panel shows, where she is now a regular. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, as well as a participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. The only ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea, her maiden name, pays tribute to her late dad. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at age three. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. She adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She also she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea was fostered by her older sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that racing wasn't the right fit for her.
